where are they now?

we all know and love the bratpack. we all ooo-ed over their fashion and aaah-ed over their crazily good looks.

but what has happened twenty years on?
i decided to investigate.

MOLLY RINGWALD
Everyones favourite rednut.
After the bratpack stint, she basically had no more memorable movies or tv show jobs after that (apart from a part in medium, pictured). The reason she fell was because Molly refused to play the Lea Thompson role in Some Kind of Wonderful, ending her successful business relationship with John Hughes, who was furious.
Although she did some broadway work and still does.
Yeah she pretty much got fat for a while (as you can tell on the right)
"You can't be 16 forever."

EMILIO ESTEVEZ
The hunk -a-spunk.
Since the bratpack, emilio has turned to writing and directing. He did act in some more movies, such as mighty ducks, but nothing incredibly major and amazing.
He's directed such films as 'Men at Work' and 'Bobby' starring lindsay lohan and elijah wood (yet to be release in aus)
Like molly, he also got fat (see right)...i guess it comes with old age.
"Writing is a lonely job unless you're a drinker, in which case you always have a friend within reach.”

JUDD NELSON
Ok, so he pretty much fell after the bratpack
As far as i know, his only really hit (if you could call it that) was new jack city
You probably guessed he got fat too

ANDREW MICHAEL HALL

Anthony was the lovable geek in the bratpack movies
Unfortunatly, like most of his co-stars, didnt really go far afterwards, although he did act in edward scissorhands
He didn't get fat, he just got ugly. Seriously, he doesn't even look like himself! (right)

ALLY SHEEDY

Ally acted in more, not so popular movies after the bratpack.
Apparantly she played a lesbian in high art, which was a great film (apparently)
In recent years Ally has won Best Actress awards from both the Los Angeles Film Critics' Circle and the National Society of Film Critics. She also won Best Female Lead from the Independent Spirit Awards for her performance as Lucy Berlinger in High Art.
Kudos to her
She has by far turned out the best-looking health/looks wise.

thats all folks.

fun with scanner

oh the fun you can have.

is my head screwed on right?

no matter how hard i try, i cannot save money
for instance: today i decided to perhaps just have a look in a certain op shop
but then perhaps got a little excited
and looked in some more
spent a certain $20 that is supposed to be going to my woodford fund
gahhh
i love the excited rush you get when buying new things
all the wonderous ideas and inspirations you get
but then it is weighed down by guilt and concience and "did i really need that?"
but i really thought i did.

ah well
i did get a high waisted acid wash denim skirt & a horrible orange 60s dress with shoulderpads (hey - you never know when you might need one)

i really want some dungerees
like this;
ohhh yeahh =)))

the highs & lows of technology

due to the peer pressure of a certain sabina & laura i decided a blogspot was absolutley vital for my social and technological teenage life.

well, thats what it seems to have come to these day
i mean, everyone whos anyone has a myspace..
or so it would seem

but i applaude those who seem to be able to ignore the powerful influences of the myspace
seriously...sometimes i am on at the most ridiculous times of day/night, refreshing the page and awaiting eagerly to reply to comments
ok
that may sound bad
(because it is)
but just you wait. in a few years they'll be starting 'ma'

myspacers annoymous
(although for some reason it won't be so annoymous, because it will probably have its own myspace with its top 30 'ma'-ers)

- first 3 members, right here

curses to myspace.
